Coco’s Lunch perform worldwide for both adults and children, and in 2007 received two Australian Record Industry Award (ARIA) nominations
for their albums Blueprint, and Rat Trap Snap! (Best Children’s Album). In recent years, Coco’s Lunch has performed headlining concerts for the 7th Taipei International Choral Festival at the Taipei National Concert Hall and the 2005 Vancouver International Festival, where their concert at the University of BC was broadcast nationally by the Canadian Broadcasting Commission. Coco’s Lunch have received an invite to perform at the 2010 MusicFest in Vancouver, and have received a return invite in 2009 to perform at the Sydney Opera House Utzon Music Series. They are the first group to be invited back to the Utzon Music Series in consecutive years.

In 2008 Coco’s Lunch were invited to perform at Telstra Dome for the Days In The Dioceses Commissioning Mass celebration in front of a 40,000 strong audience. In 2003 Coco’s Lunch scored BEST FOLK/WORLD SONG (Thulele Mama Ya - Lisa Young) and received Runner Up for BEST FOLK/WORLD ALBUM (A Whole New Way of Getting Dressed) in the USA Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards. Their CD Invisible Rhythm was a finalist in the 2000 Australian World Music Awards. Coco’s Lunch has toured throughout Australia and Asia with Musica Viva since 1994 and represented Australian contemporary music in Singapore and Laos in the lead up to the 2000 Sydney Olympics. They have collaborated with Stephen Leek’s Australian Voices, and in 2008 were commissioned to write a new work for the ensemble. Performed by vocal groups and choirs worldwide, the award-winning work of Coco’s Lunch has been featured on countless compilation albums, anthologies, short films, ads and documentaries.

Coco’s Lunch present scintillating songs for young people that are clever, catchy and full of zest!

Coco’s Lunch has ignited the hearts of children around the globe for more than a decade. Renowned for their award winning songs, brilliant harmonies and stunning live performances for children, these five women have inspired young audiences to shuffle, clap, dance the mambo, snap their rat
traps and sing in all kinds of creative ways! Their rhythmic vitality, humour and musical sophistication sets them apart from most children’s performers. In 2007 Coco’s Lunch performed spellbinding children’s concerts for Chookahs Festival at the Victorian Arts Centre and had a sell-out season at the Babies Proms at The Sydney OperaHouse in 2008. ‘Sounds of the Sea’ was described as the ‘HIT OF THE FESTIVAL’ at OUT OF THE BOX -Queensland Performing Arts Centre, 2008. In 2006 Coco’s Lunch performed their interactive music/theatre show ‘A Frog In My Throat’ in another sell-out season for Babies Proms at the Sydney Opera House, followed by a season for Powerkidz at the Brisbane Powerhouse . In 2004/05 they performed magical seasons at the Famous Spiegeltent and the Victorian Arts Centre in Melbourne, as well as two seasons at the Sydney Opera House.
