Coco's Lunch make a rare Melbourne appearance to perform songs from their hit show I Wanna Be A Mermaid and other Coco's classics! The Children's Book Festival has eight different spaces to keep kids - and their parents - entertained for the whole day. On the State Library lawns there'll be a petting zoo, marquees, roving performers, fun kids' activities and a stage with music acts including Rebecca Barnard, Coco's Lunch and Kutcha Edwards. The Wheeler Centre will host authors and illustrators in conversation, and in Queen's Hall kids will be able to meet with more authors and illustrators. The Village Roadshow Theatrette will feature puppet shows and theatre. Inside the library, there'll be storytelling and workshops in the Experimedia space and books to be launched in the Blue Rotunda.

: : I Wanna Be A Mermaid drops anchor at SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE BABIES' PROMS!

Coco's Lunch have just returned from another gloriously fishy season at the Sydney Opera House Babies' Proms series in the Utzon Room, performing their hit show I Wanna Be A Mermaid no less than 33 times! Little mermaids and pirates from all over Sydney brought their parents along to sing along with Coco's Lunch, do a spot of surfing, submerge their submarines, sell some seashells, and dance in their beautifully underwatery costumes!

: : FRANCE 2010

Coco’s Lunch recently returned from an amazing week of concerts alongside some of the world’s most accomplished contemporary choral acts in FRANCE. The Polyfollia 4th World Choral Showcase was an invite only affair, and Coco’s Lunch performed to festival directors from all over the globe, as well as conducting workshops for French choirs, festival delegates and the public (and translated into French by the group’s multi-lingual tour manager Sally Blackwood!)

Coco’s Lunch was nominated in the Top 5 ‘Favourite Oceanic A Cappella Groups’ category in the Contemporary A Cappella Society’s 2010 Community Awards in the USA.
